1st Wamboin Scout Group
As part of the world-wide fellowship of Scouting, the 1st Wamboin Scout Group offers children and young adults the opportunity to participate in a range of indoor and outdoor activities which are designed to help develop a sense of responsibility and community leadership.
The Group is currently in recess, pending the appointment of new leaders in the various Sections. If anyone in the community feels that they might interested in taking on a youth leadership role within Scouts Australia, please contact one of the people listed below. The Sections within the Scouting movement are: Joey Scouts (ages 6-7), Cub Scouts (ages 8-11), Scouts (ages 11-14), Venturer Scouts (ages 14-18) and Rovers (ages 17-26). There are currently former Cub and Scout Leaders who are happy to help reestablish these Sections.
Participation in Scouting activities, in Group organisation, or as youth leaders, adult helpers or Award examiners, by all members of the community is encouraged.
For further information, please contact one of the leaders listed below.
